Listed is a Yamaha MC802 8 Channel Vintage Analog Mixer!
This mixer is being sold AS-IS no returns but has been tested to an extent. All inputs over XLR and TS have been tested as well as insert return paths and all functions with varying levels. All EQ sections appear to be functional and AUX sends appear to work as well. Talkback mic input was tested and appears functional. Only one of the VU meter lights are functioning and none of the VU's respond appropriately. Pots and slider exhibit varying levels of dirtiness but are in surprisingly good condition considering. One button is missing from the master section as seen in the photos, it looks to be a CUE button for AUX send 3. The power cable in the back is frayed and it could benefit from a replacement, but we had no issues in testing. The housing has some scrapes and scuffs but it doesn't look to have ever been dropped and it is structurally sound.
These consoles were developed as simple to use analog mixers with enough I/O to have you covered in both live or recording situations. It sports CUE capabilities and 3 auxiliary sends for monitor mixes if you were to use it in a live scenario. Alternatively, in a studio, 2 auxiliary outputs could be used for output to headphone amplifiers/mixers, stereo track recorders or effects and each channel has TRS insert jacks for tasty inline VGA action. There is a master 48 volt phantom power switch on the back panel for powering condenser mic's etc. over the XLR inputs. These older, simple analog consoles are getting tougher to find on the daily as people move towards chasing that magical rare vintage tone. This mixer has plenty of vintage sex appeal and with a little TLC could be a surprisingly powerful centerpiece to your home studio
