There are four hard drives in the unit, all matching  WD
WD4000YR (400GB each ) used but functional. They have been formatted and scanned with no errors.
This was my personal unit till it stopped working.
As far as I remember unit became unreachable
, meaning it could no longer be reached / logged in. It stopped showing up in my network and the reset function did not fix anything. Whatever the problem is / was is well above my expertise, so it was set aside and replaced.
Please keep in mind that as far as I know you are buying a NON WORKING UNIT which has been discontinued by the manufacturer and WD does no longer provide support for it.
I have no longer use for this item, as such there will be no refunds nor exchanges.
