    Description

    Here is a vintage half-pine glass milk bottle with rounded sides.  The bottle is 5-1/2” tall and is inscribed Southern Refrigeration Pasteurized Milk Company which was created in the 1920’s as Southern Refrigeration Company in Bristol, VA.  They were manufacturers of Southern Maid Ice Cream and would end up with several branches in WV, VA & TN.  There is small embossed slug plate on the front marked Sealed 11.  The bottom is incised with a large “S” with Refrigeration in smaller letters across the middle.
