VINTAGE 1960s COLVERTS 2 QUART ACL PYRO CLEAR MILK BOTTLE ARDMORE OKLAHOMA

Description

This is a vintage CLEAR glass milk bottle. It has red painted / pyroglazed / ACL printing. Both sides are identical, and read: "COLVERT'S...RICHER - FRESHER - BETTER TASTING - MILK...DEPOSIT." Near the bottom, one side is embossed: "TWO QUARTS LIQUID." The underside is embossed: "DURAGLASS." It's hard to see, but I think it is also marked: "60" on the underside. I've seen as few of these half gallon / 2 quart bottles in amber glass, but THIS is the first one I've seen in CLEAR glass. ("Colvert's Dairy Plant" was located in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and closed in the late 1970's or early 1980's.) The condition is a EXCELLENT, with no chips or cracks. The paint is nice on BOTH sides and the glass is clean and clear, with no hazing or clouding. You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer example of this bottle. It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back. Will be shipped EMPTY, without the styrofoam milk seen in some of the photos.
