Hello my name is John. I restore, recondition vintage microphones for display, prop and functional use. I am offering this1950's era Shure 737A microphone with desk stand for display or prop use as the original crystal element is non working. This model is often referred to as the "Waffle Iron" because of the design. The cosmetic condition is above average with the typical wear from age and use on the satin chrome body. The blue silk panels are in good condition and all threading is clear. The classic blue model badge is in good condition and the angle adjustment is tight. The heavy metal base is 6 1/4 inches round and the full height with the microphone mounted is 9 inches. A  nice set.
