SOLID 14K YELLOW GOLD & SYNTHETIC STAR SAPPHIRE MASONIC RING ~ SIZE 9

Description

This is a Solid 14K Yellow Gold and Synthetic Star Sapphire Masonic Ring.  I recently acquired this at a local auction.  I believe this ring comes straight out of the early 1970's, maybe even earlier (back when Synthetic Star Sapphires were VERY popular.)  The ring is roughly marked 14K on the inside of the band and acid tests to 14K.
It is done in plain yellow gold with a bright polished finish.  The top has a White Gold Masonic Square & Compass symbol flanked by a bezel set round Synthetic Star Sapphire cabochon measuring 6mm in diameter.  There are additional White Gold Masonic Symbols on the sides of the ring as pictured.  The ring is a size 9 and weighs 15.8 grams on my digital postal scale.
