Description

RCA 77D Microphone MI-4045-D. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Untested. Visually in very good condition, mic head has a few dents and is slightly off round at the top. Fabric under the screen is untorn. Rubber cord is aged and cracking near the microphone connection.

A little more info on this mic. It belonged to my grandfather, George ALAN Weiss, (DO NOT confuse with George DAVID Weiss, totally different people, this auction has
nothing to do with George DAVID Weiss
, although there were some legal issues between them.) George ALAN Weiss was a country singer from Cleveland Ohio. It is likely (although I don't have any evidence)  that this mic was used by him for his recording sessions and performances in the 50's. I will include the 3 45's with this auction, but not the Copyrights for his songs.
Winning bidder will get the mic as shown with the Shure attachment plus the 3 45 records showing George as either the vocalist and or writer.
