For sale is a rebranded QNAP TS-1079 Pro 10-bay ultra-high performance NAS. The vendor is Ciphertex, and original model is CX-10K-NAS, 40TB.  It has dual onboard Gigabit ethernets + d
ual 10Gigabits ethernets ( Intel X520 ). This rebranded units is identical to QNAP TS-1079 Pro, with matching specs.  CPU and RAM are upgradable.
No
hard drive
is included. All 10 trays come with screws to mount 3.5" drives. I do not have the screws for 2.5" drives though.
All bays were tested(with 4TB, 8TB, 12TB, 14TB, & 16TB drives. So it should support all SATA hard drives); Firmware is upgraded to the latest QNAP QTS. HDMI port is enabled for HTPC functions.
No physical damage. Very good condition, though missing two rear screws (see picture). This model has the reinforced metal handle on top, to allow you to carry the NAS. The NAS itself is very heavy.
