    Offered for your consideration is this Genuine Antique Metal Early 1900's Milk Bottle Cap Opener with Round Oak Stove Advertising manufactured by the W & H (Whitehead & Hoag) Co of Newark, NJ. It measures 3-15/16" long x 9/16" wide.
    FYI: Whitehead & Hoag was founded in 1892 in Newark, NJ, by Benjamin S. Whitehead (1858-1940) and Chester R. Hoag (1860-1935) when the two teamed up to combine their expertise and formalize their friendship. In 1892, the main office and factory was located at Washington & Warren Streets.  As the company continued to grow and expand, a new factory was built at 272 Sussex Ave. & First Street in 1903.  The new factory had a complete printing and lithographing plant with over 50 modern presses, a complete art and photo engraving plant in which all the engraving sketches and plates were made, a complete button plant with a capacity of over one million buttons a day, and a machinery plant where the company made all its own tools, dies and special machinery.
